Anyone installed rear window louvers?
Hello, as per thread title...any pics? I have an SB and I think they wouldn't look bad at all. The 350Z source site sell them and I am thinking about getting a pair...ciao!

didn't louvers go out of style in the 80's?
I wouldn't do it.

Dude it's not the 1980's and the car is not a 280ZX.
PLEASE don't put louvers on your car.

Actually we had louvers in the 70's... I even had them on my 240Z!
350Z should not have them. JMO

is there an actual purpose for them, or is it just for looks?...i don't think they look good, so it doesn't even do that well

Hey, thanks for the POSITIVE response! Ok, NO LOUVRES for me (I meant those fitted on race spec cars on the rear side windows...look at the Z source site...zcarparts.com). Thanks anyway boys and girls...

Louvers are old school window tint before window tint was invented.
I'm surprised some people are putting them on the side windows of the new Mustangs.
Didn't even know they made them for a 350z but then again they make clear tail lights so who knows.

my much older brother had them on his gold 1978 pontiac firebird....they went well with his black nose bra and gold honeycomb wheels.....they were a pita when he'd wash the car.

Go ahead and buy em if you like them! Who knows, maybe in Rome people have different tastes.
You should get black wheels instead cause those are in-style right now.
Funny thread though.
