Default Removing stock front grille?

Who has done this? Whats the best way to cut those plastics out of the front bumper? Would like to remove it so I can show off my intercooler and let her breathe.

We decided to get a rotary tool and cut off the plastic lip all the way around the hole (the part that goes "in"). This gave it a nice clean look.
