US Spec NISMO front lip - Detailed Installation w/pics
I installed mine last week. I did not paint mine, but put about 6 coats of Zaino on it so that it would somewhat match my CF skirts. My stock bumper cover is only installed for track and auto-x events.
Here's the skinny on the install.
You'll need the following tools:
Drill and the following bits - 1/8, 3/16, 13/64, 11/32, 1/2
ratchet w/13 mm socket
Dremel w/circular cutter or thin flat blade file
rivet gun
X-acto knife
C-clamps or quick-grip (tm) clamps
floor mop
small bucket
a beer
silicone sealant
First this is NOT a reversible installation. You must drill some large holes in the front of your bumper cover to install this as instructed. You could modify the lip, but I don't know how well it would fit.
Start by laying up the templates on each side of the bumper cover. This part took more time than anything else to get just right.

Test it by setting the lip to make sure the tabs align w/the outside mark of each pair.

and when you get it just right, mark the holes in the templates. You will realize that you will be drilling very close to the washer fluid reservour, but decide that you are going to be careful and that everything will be fine, since you don't want to take the whole bumper cover off.
Next comes the high-pucker-factor move, as you drill pilot holes into the markes you just made.

Now either when you drill the pilot holes or the final sized, 1/2 inch holes, you will puncture your washer fluid reservour...

which will cause you to swear profusely. Then place the small bucket to catch the fluid. Swear some more, crack open the beer and drink it while you watch the reservour empty. Once that's all over, mop up all of the spilled fluid w/the floor mop.
Now take the Dremel w/flat grinding bit, or thin file and cut each pair of holes into oblong holes.

Now you can dry fit the lip and see what it will look like.
Next, you will need to mount the bottom L-channel type bracket which fits where the thin black underbody diffuser (if so equiped) is located, so take that off (if so equiped.) This L-channel piece is attached to the bottom edge of the bumper cover using pop rivets (supplied.)

Next, attach the self-adhesive rubber gasket material to the backside of the lip, first cleaning with the supplied alcohol wipes.
Now the reservour should be dry enough for you to patch the hole with the silicone (not supplied.)
With the end in sight, attach the lip, securing with the supplied spacers, palnuts, tree anchors, etc.
Anchor the lip to the L-channel by drilling matching holes in the L-channel and connect with t he supplied plastic anchors.

Thanks guys.....
Here are the answers to the questions above.
First, I switch between my street setup (NISMO rims and CF NISMO front bumper cover) and my track/Auto-X setup (stock rims and stock bumper cover (now with NISMO US spec. lip)) several times a month, depending on how many race events are going on. This month, that's 3 weekends.
I'm not planning on getting the rest of the kit. The only reason I got this piece was to add a bit of downforce when I'm using the stock bumper cover at the track.
Yes, this is the lip that the guys at Performance Nissan sell. They do a great job supporting everyone on this board. You can't go wrong with these guys!
A dollop (who talks like that?) of silicone took care of the small puncture in the washer bottle.

OLD thread I KNOW, but I just ordered mine and have a question. Is that all the holes for the lip that is needed? I just installed a nismo lip on a friends sentra and it had about 7 white clips that went in the front. If anyone can help please!
