Default what tint % do you recommend?

I live in Cali. I have a brickyard coupe. I am thinking of getting tint on my car. how does 35% sounds all around? I like the car to have that classy elogant look, not that racer look so i don't care to have it dark. what do you think? is it even worth getting done? if so what shops can someone recommend in northern cali?

35% is the recommended, as it is the legal limit. You cannot tint the front window, I believe you could tint any % on the rear window.

I have always had 20% on my vehicles. I can still see easily at night and it is dark enough during the day for privacy. I dont see how some people can drive at night with 5% tint.

I had my windows done in 20%. I originally purchased the car from the dealer with 35% all the way around, but felt that it was too light. I will say that you have to pay a bit more attention at night with 20% on your windows as your peripheral vision doesn’t pick up the lights of vehicle near and around you as well.

35% is typical. I would recommend front 35% and rear 20%

as far shop, go to Dynamic Audio in San jose. Talk to Patrick. Tell Alex refer you down, he will take good care for you and very nice pricing. I had my car tint there and few other Z's too.

Dynamic Audio (San Jose) - 408.924.4230 (Patrick)

I got 35% all around. Its illegal to have any shade of tint on the driver and passenger windows in CA (unless you have a medical condition with your eyes).

i have 20% on the back three windows, and 35% on the front sides. Looks great. That's what I've done on my last 3 cars.

I've got 35% all the way around, a black interior makes the tint look darker than it is IMO.

I have 20%. It is easy to see out of at night and blocks out some of the bright Southern California sun.

have pics at work. ill post tomorrow, but it's impossible to recreate in a picture what the tint is like. It's all about the back drop.

i would love to go 20% all the way around BUT the damn cops will have a reason to pull me over and i would like to avoid that. No need to attract unnecessary attention in my opinion.
