Whitest hi-beams?
I bought the Sylvania 4000k's and absolutely hate them. They look horribly yellowish when used with my 12000k HID's. I need white, really white hi-beams. What k rating am i looking for, and can you suggest a particular product?
I know either 4100k or 4300k puts out the most actual light. As far as color to the eye I am not sure. A lot of companies have different specs as far as their products go. For instance, I had 6000k HID's on my R1 that looked identical to another brand of HID's that I have on my Denali that are 4300k. They looked exactly the same but had different kelvin ratings because they were manufactured by different companies.
i have silvania silverstars on my high beams and they arent that white. it doesnt match the O.E. HIDs at all. i kinda knew that it wouldnt match up though. however, they are better than O.E. bulbs, imo. i got them because they are brighter, not to match them up to the HIDs.
