Default Blackout headlights myself (lose hibeams) vs ebay headlights?

I've been doing constant research on blacked out headlights and I've narrowed my choices down to 2 things. Here is some background info to get everyone on the same page so you better understand my situation.

Been going back and forth about whether or not I should black out my headlights and be without hi-beams or buy ebay blacked out headlights.

The problem with blacking out the 03 headlights is that to maintain full and optimum light output you are only given very few areas to black out.
Example of 03 headlights blacked out: (IMO barely noticeable)

The other problem with the 03 headlights is that if you so choose to black out more of the headlights you render your hi-beams useless. Given I rarely ever use my hi-beams to begin with, I know there will come a time when I do.
Example of 03 headlights blacked out killing hi-beam output: (Looks much better but at the cost of hi-beams, who knows?)

After going back and forth about this for a long time I've got it down to this.
I am not going to do choice #1, as the black housing of that is the bare minimum and to me isn't even worth the effort.

Now should I go with option #2, black out the majority of my headlights and be without hi-beams?

Or option #3, here is the hook. EBAY?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-03-04-05-NISSAN-350Z-BLACK-HALO-LED-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS-PAIR-LEFT-RIGHT-SET-/160942152460?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2003%7CMake%3ANissan%7CModel%3A350Z&hash=item2578e65b0c&vxp=mtrThese majority of these lights are blacked out, the only question is how reputable are ebay headlights? Anyone have prior experience with these or ebay headlights in general?

Thanks in advance for your help I really appreciate it.

only the 06+ headlights look good blacked out imo. and you don't have to worry about sacrificing light output.

Unless you never ever drive at night why the heck would you want to compromise light output?

Geez guys relax.

I blacked mine.

Personally, the only time I've ever used high beams on any vehicle I've ever owned is on a night time off road trail. And then the over head HIDs drown them out LOL.

Seriously, when do you actually use the high beams? You use them on the highway and some jerk off just flashes his lights at you. You use them when it rains or snows and it just makes it worse. If you have to use your high beams to see at night, I think it's time for new glasses or the nursing home. And I live out in BFE, id imagine the uselessness would be 100 fold for people that live in civilization.

****. I forgot to cater to the elitists in this post.
Allow me talk rephrase this in elitist terms now.

Yo, should I do something myself because its convenient and saves me alot of money?
HELL NAW I just dropped $2000 on new headlights boi! And you know what they say,
The more expensive it is the more justified and sick the mod becomes.
Please give me attention and notice my existence because I spent a lot of money!!!

Anyway, back to reality, this goes out to people that don't have their heads up their ***. I'm likin the pics, and thanks for your advice, I'll just paint it myself, nbd.

I love my bixenon eBay headlights. To me, they were the least cheasy looking aftermarket headlight. Blacked out single projector. I don't like the 3 leds below the projector, but other than that they are a lot better looking than yellow 05 headlights. Here's a listing for the headlights I have. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-2006-Nissan-350Z-Z33-JDM-BLK-LED-CCFL-Halo-Projector-Headlights-Head-Lamps-/280979658577?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A350Z&hash=item416bb15751&vxp=mtr

Unfortunatly on this form theres ALOT of people with heads up there asses. or dicks one. you dont have to call his idea a "stupid *** mod"; just hit the ****ing back button or get a hobby sheesh

anyways, I myself would save up till i could get some 06's. but out of those options, id lose hi beams before i went ebay.

see was that so hard?
