how do you remove/paint pillars?
hey guys...i figured it was cheaper to paint my pillars and strut towercover on my own....how do u remove them from the interior?
also if anyone has done this, what process did you use to paint them? I am waiting the paint to match my super black exterior!

as far the the calipers go to be honest if you have wheels with a wide enough gap between the the spokes you can actually paint them without removing them. im a perfectionist about stuff like this and i assure you it will come out looking good if you take your time and give it a few coats.
go to your local autozone or whatever car parts store and buy some $4 high temperature engine paint. then just take some news paper and wrap it around the spokes of your wheels and maybe tape some to your fender.
then just spray them. its a hell of a lot easier than taking the wheels off and removing calipers. and the thing is maybe once a year just give them another quick coat. ive road raced and autoXed after doing this and the the pain has held up pretty good.
before is a picture after a fairy intense day at the track that pretty much burnt my calipers
and after is new wheels rotors and painted calipers in the method i told you. (altough they need a touch up) that pic wa after a full season of autoX
