Default Powering an LED sidemarker on outside the car?

I got my LED sidemarkers in the mail and would like to power one on to see what it looks like, before i install it. Is there any way (perhaps with a current modifiier or something) that i can do it with a power socket?

Don't try that; you'll likely just blow the LEDs. All you have to do is touch the wires directly to the pos and neg terminals of your car battery.

BTW, do you have pics of your high beams and where did you order them? Looking for something better than the Silverstars...

If they're designed to run off of 12V you just wire them into the parking lights.

to test, just use the car battery.

you can use an AC/DC converter similair to a phone charger or whatever, but it needs to have a 12v output. Id say its a risk that you probably dont want to mess with when the car battery is so easily available.
