I was trying to buy these 06 clear side markers from Performance Nissan, I got an email back from Andy indicating they still do not have them yet.

Anybody selling them in North America yet?

The only place now is from Japan Parts, but their prices are high, $73.65 USD plus shipping.

That looks pretty good. How and with what did you smoke them out with?

 

i had to take off the bumper to get the reflectors off. bought a spray from one of those ricer places (make sure to get the smoke ones and not actual paint). sanded it a bit and applied several layers of the spray to have as little amber as possible. then 2-3 layers of clear coat. only costed like 20 bucks to do.

also, i dont think you HAVE to sand it down. if anything, that will take away the glossy look to it. i kinda regret sanding it.

How do you install these? Does it require removal of the front bumper?

 

yes you have to remove the front bumper for installation...

by the book atleast...

I have not yet tried to install on the car like the 03-05 ones yet..

 

im pretty sure you have to remove the bumper because when i was smoking out my reflectors, i couldn't reach the right side due to all the crap in the way of it. just make sure not to break any of the clips that hold the top part of the bumper.

 

sweet!! hey jason, i'm planning on coming probably this saturday for an oil change. any chance i could get these installed while i'm there too? how much would you say it would be? (cost of sidemarkers + installation) i'm too busy to take off the bumper myself.

 

If anyone does install these sidemarkers, could they please take pictures how to do it? Please?

These come with instructions that have pictures... as stated in the first post in this thread... and pictured as well...
