ok, i have been searching for a way to upgrade my low beams. it seems as if all of the postes that i have read all talk about upgrading the entire housing. all i want to do is replace the bulbs. is this possible to simply replace the bulbs with xenons? i just want something brighter, and possibly with a blue tint.

You'll need to include ballasts to power the HID bulbs as well. That is, unless you go with direct Halogen replacements that burn white.

 

would the replacement halogens be much brighter? also how much do you think they would cost?

If you simply replace the bulbs, I recommend that you stick with a reliable brand such as OSRAM SYLVANIA. Also do not toy with the wattage.

unless you got that kit from jun, I highly doubt everything he will need is included. you can't just take the OEM HID parts from a xenon equiped Z and plug them into a base Z.

also you can't be selling your products here unless your a sponsor.

 

I bought a kit from EagleEye, came with HELLA Ballasts for $530 installed (friend of the shop). I love them, and people are always complimenting them, they are 7000K, it doesnt light the ground as well as the whiter HID's but the color and light produced keeps me happy
