looking for a car cover
I'm shopping around for a good car cover (and was hoping to not spend 200-250 bucks). I have a quote coming from bigskycarcovers.com for a Weathershield one, which I'm guessing be somewhere in the 200-250 ballpark.
Is the stock cover from Nissan any good or should I spend a bit more for a Weathershield one?
Does anyone have any other recommendations? I wanna protect my baby!

Oh, yah, I should have included those details. It's garaged at home, but outside at work, so I would cover it at work or when parked for a whole day outside wherever.
I got a price from bigskycarcovers.com for a custom fitted jobby in Weathershield material for $227 (which was recommended material for it's better-than-average UV, rain and dust protection and because it folds up quite complactly for storage in our enormous Z storage area).
How's that sound?
I'll check out the covers at StrictlyZ as well, thanks.
Stock Z cover: the lowest price I've seen in like 190. Where did you find it for 165, if I may ask?
/kicking herself for not making the dealer throw in the stock one for free

Anyone with a factory cover. How the heck do you get it on the car? When I get the back end on, the front end won't stretch long enough, and vice versa. It's driving me crazy. I know its the right one, since it has a big Z on the hood.

Thanks for the reply. I put the antenna and mirrors in. Then I pulled it over the back end, and the front end isn't even close, like I can only get the cover halfway down the hood. When I go the other way, the same story. I though I was maybe tucking too much or too little underneath, but the cover sorta has marks, like the license plate cover that let you know where it goes, so I think Ive got it aligned correctly. Do you feel like you're going to rip out the elastic when you put it on? Maybe mine is made wrong, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for the pic Kly. I found it took two people to put it on, with one holding the back to keep it from slipping, then put the hood all the way on, then pull the back down. I may be able to figure out how to do it by myself with some practice. If I put the back all the way down first, it's impossible to get the hood more than halfway down. How do you do it?

I am thinking about getting the car cover from Courtesyparts: http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...Code=350Z-CVER
Is it the same car cover you guys have? Also how well does it work outside, since my car will not be garaged? The main thing that I will be concerned about is UV rays in the summer, since I live in Austin.
Thanks

How thick are NOAH covers? Personally, i like the added protection of Kimberly Clarke Evolution Fabrics..they tend to be bulky..but they are 4 layers thick and in case some one dings it..it might absorb some of the impact energy.
