I personal like the carbonfiber look. If you have carbonfiber why paint over it. If you where going to buy the kit and paint it I would suggest not buying the carbonfiber and saving $$$$ and buy the fiberglass.

thanks,
Greg

carbon fiber looks like sh*t. my opinion. I personally would paint it to match the body. The hood looks terrible in CF.

I love how that kit looks. I was thinking about buying it too, but then I decided that its all carbon fiber and that carbon fiber breaks easily. It would just suck if I was to hit a small curb while parking and I would have to get a new lip on the kit. So I think I'm going kamanari.

Default Carbon Break easy???

NO way,..carbon Fiber will last a hell of a lot longer then FRP,...Fiberglass will crack like a son-of-a-*****!

You can stand on a Carbon fiber hood and jump up & down and it will just bend right back to shape every time(certain quality-if it dosen't dothat its cheap quality)!

You do that to say a Fiberglass hood or Body peice like Kamanari it will shatter!!!

If I had a Black Z------man,.I would have that ***** Carbon Fibered out!

Polyurathane is the BEST EVER--You can do anything to that it will just bend and all,..if the paint is high Quality then it will bend right along w/ it!!!
I wish they would start making some Poly Body kits soon!! I think NISMO kit is all Polyurathane??

BUt I reall y dig the C-West w/o the wing and say ALl of it painted w/ the Lip still Carbon!!

and how come the CF hood looks like it's not polished...

The kamanari kit is polyurathane. Unbreakable. Thats also another reason I like it. And it looks really good!

That wing is horrible IMO.

Ruins the smooth lines of the Z.

garageSPL-

Do you have any pictures of the Kosei Z with the C-West kit?

Thanks,

JD

PS

On a side note, did Garage Fukui/Phoenix Power have a Z at the TAS?

Wow, that kit looks really good! (Except for the wing... a little too big for my tastes.) But that hood and front lip are really nice! I would like those on my z!
