Default The weigfht loss thread....

Ok, I have been reading for a while, which means I have searched. There is a lot of threads on putting the Z on a diet, but I want to start a special one, hopefully get all the knowledge into one thread.

Here's what I am looking at. I have added a bunck of crap to my car, body kit, wheels, roll bar, and it adds a **** ton of weight to the car. Granted I have a bit of motor stuff done, but I think the Z is slugish and it capable of much more... So here is what I pose.

To all the hard core racers out there that strip their cars, I am not looking to strip everything, in fact I want my car to look stock as far as the interior goes, I just want to lose weight. How can I go abotu this?

I know spare tire is the 1st. I was also thinking the counterweight for the hatch, is it ok to remove that? The hatch will just open faster, no big deal I will always have my hand on it when opening it....

So lets discuss.
