Default Install of Aerosync front bumper.

Hi guys. I am ordering my Aerosync front bumper tomorrow. I plan on having a friend paint it. I want to avoid unnecessary costs so I need to know how hard it is to remove the front bumper and install the aerosync one.

Has anyone had experience with installing it? How long does it take? Any drilling necessary or does it bolt right on?

Thanks!

I have also ordered this bumper, I've had my stock one off before, it's not very hard.

Bump. Anyone install Aerosync bumper? How easy? Use EOM mounting points? Any custom fabrication needed? Is it predrilled? thanks

I would also like to know.

I have read that the bottom of the bumper has no drill holes. How does the lower plastic plate connect to the bumper, since the nismo style bumper is lower than the oem bumper. Do i need brackets to hold the bumper and plastic plate together?

I have the bumper. it is a nice quality piece. No money now to get it painted, but when I do I will have it proffesionally painted and will do the install myself to save $$.

Here is some removal info I saved in a text file forgot who I lifted it from but I believe it was LAoSiFu. Props.

REMOVING THE FRONT BUMPER
1. Open up your hood and remove 6 clips on top of your bumper with a flat head screwdriver.
2. Under your car has (8)10mm screws that need to be remove with a 10mm socket wrench
3. Where you fender and bumper touch, on each side has a 10mm screws. Remove them.
4. From inside, under the headlight should have (2)10mm screws. Remove them
5. The front bumper should come right off, if not please double check for any left over screws that may have not come off.

Once I installed mine I lifted the car and put the lower plastic on, marked holes on the lower bumper where the plastic meets the bumper and bolted the plastic to the bumper, simple and secure. That took a total of about 15 minutes and you will reuse the bolts and nuts off your original lower bumper.

yeah make sure you get the fronts up on jacks so you can take off the front wheels, makes getting to the 3 plugs under each fender a hell of a lot easier to get to

There is no need to take the front wheels off. Just turn the wheel so it's easier to access the inner well liner.

I just ordered the bumper from kurumaz.com and was told that the bumper comes with simple spacers and bolts.
