I'd like to see 20mm wider front fenders and 50mm wider rear overfenders. Something we could rivet on and replace if we smash it up. I wish Ridox would make aero for the 350Z just like their Supra.

Note the half FRP half carbon fiber front bumper and sideskirts.

functionality wise, you want the longest piece of (material) infront of the nose, flat or curved, to push the nose down.

you can use balsa wood and wrap it with fiberglass and paint it black for the same affect as the APR splitter.

once you start throwing curves into the design, you have to watch out. adverse air flow affects at the cost of looking pretty.

rear diffuser is idea. but exhaust is the variable

what might be more beneficial is a plug to fill the hole where the muffler used to be-..

Zillinois is on the right track. but the triangluar piece in the front, presumably mounting near the rear diff, still allows for alot of air to get in ...

The stock muffler location is almost completely plugged with that piece and it follows along side the pipes of at least one type of aftermarket exhaust. That's about as good as I could come up with given the constraints. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I wanted to make it pretty simple. Carbon is nice but its much more difficult to work with than aluminum and not any stronger.

As for the triangle part, It bolts to the lower two bolts of the pumpkin and fills the gap between the exhaust pipes. So thats pretty plugged. I've got two rather large vortex generators at the cliff of the radius up and they are at a relatively aggressive angle of attack so they should generate better flow than what's there anyway. I put a fence in between them so they wouldn't cancel each other out. I'm trying to get a test fitter this weekend so I can make any last minute changes.

+1. Also, they should be able to allow for tall plenums & aftermarket strut bars. I've found a lot of them rub. It would also be good that they make the latch & hinge area stronger (aluminum) so that you won't have to rely on hood pins. Perhaps an aluminum frame?
