From reading about the 2 it seems the ball style is a little shorter which makes it a + for me.Have you tried both ***** to support your opinion? If you have what makes it better in your opinion?Opinions from owners of both ***** would be much appreciated, and pics with shift boot installed as well.
Thanks

O yes I should thank you because your pic is the reason I'm tossed up now (I came across your pic seaching).Your pic is perfect and if I had a pic of the ball just like your pic I could make a visual decision.I'm still leaning toward the ball for some reason. What the hell is wrong with me the GT looks good, hows the shifting with the GT guy's?

I'd love to see pics of the ball too... the GT looks a bit plain IMO

I have that **** and I like it very much. It is considerably shorter than the stock leather-trimmed ****, which effectively makes your lever into a "short shift". The throw of the lever is noticably shorter, and shifting is faster. Also, it is very smooth and nice feeling in the hand, doesn't get hot in the sun, and allows you to rest your forearm on the console while shifting. Oh, it also looks very cool. I'll try to post a photo.

I have the black ball, I like it. It is small compared to most, sort of reminds me of a video game shifter. It has to be at least an inch shorter than stock, I should get a pic of that in comparison. One thing I had to do to make it fit right was drill out the bottom a bit with a 1/2 inch bit so it would screw down flush with the boot.

I've had my new THX shift **** on now for about 2 weeks.

Excellent feeling and weight .. and very direct shifting. I love it.
