Sorry I searched and searched and actually went thread by thread for a few pages. However I was unable to locate this answer for a friend with an 06.

Will an 03-05 custom Z bumper fit on an 06? If not what needs to be done as far as retrofitting the Z so it will? I think the hoods fit fine though right?Thanks alot guys.

 

03-05 FULL front bumpers will fit the 06 no problems and yes the hood is the same

 

same full front bumper, the only issue that people have been discussing was the fact that lip kits for the series 1 (03-05) Z do not fit the series 2 (2006)Z front bumpers.

 

shameless plug: i hope more 06 owners want series 1 bumpers, because I want to buy a used Daytona Blue 06 front full bumper =D

 

just give up man. Go full bumper replacement. hehehe

my buddy bought an 06 bumper for his 05 Z.

It fits for him, however, the plastic cover under the fender is slightly smaller, so it doesn't cover the whole bumper.
For an 06, it would be the opposite, the 03-05 bumper might be too small for the plastic cover under the fender, so you might need some trimming.
