titanium is nice, but gets hot, slippery when hands are sweaty.

i'd recommend the black rubber/urethane one,

or this baby!

I have the UTR Titanium one and love it.

BTW, those Bubble ***** are the rage in Japan right now for some reason that I still cannot figure out. One hard shift and you'd break it.

Here's the one i've got... Nismo titanium.

mc350z... did your's come with the black rubber finisher? If it did, you can use that underneath the boot instead of the stock plastic one and it should sit a bit flatter instead of looking like it's all stuffed up into the shiftknob.

Check out the Nismo carbon fiber shift ****, I will try to post a pic of it soon (got one for Christmas)

I found that I am actually able to do the 1-2 upshift quicker with the different ****. Its just a tad bit cleaner feeling, not as rubbery as the stock shift ****. Maybe its all in my head. Has anyone else noticed this?

some of my friend's have the ***** looking shift ****. It was popular in a japan awhile ago. It's funny as hell for non-car people but I'm glad that trend died out.
