Default Really F'ed up my headlights. Film on the inside !!

Hello all. Well, i decided to open up my headlights again to get a better seal on them and when i took the first one apart, i thought i would clean a small spot on the inside of the front lens. Well, to make it short, it start to remove this film and therefore started this crazy chain reaction.... I tried buffing all night, but these lights will not get these crazy swirl marks and hazing out. I am so pissed right now, i should never of even tried to clean the damn thing! I am convinced that these swirl marks and fine scratched all over the place will not come out. So, i guess i will be buying new headlights (sigh) If someone can help with this i would appreciate it. By the way, i tried the plexus plastic cleaner and it still leaves fine swirl marks (very noticable).

+1

It's around there but definitely cheaper than buying the whole unit. I'd try to contact Performance Nissan. They helped me out in a similar situation.

Well, I figured that if i am going to spend money i might as well do something a little different. Yeah, 450 is better then 1200 dollars, but i don't want to take anymore chances with this light ( i may end up screwing it up again )

My driver side light is perfect though (less then 2000 miles on it) its for sale in the for sale section and so is the f'ed up light.

I have the same prob lil moisture in the bottom left head light and i went into the body shop today to get my nismo bumper painted, and the guy was like you got a lil fog going on in your head light. I was like yeah blah blah and he said if it stains the head light he said to use house hold bleach and swirl it around and should come right out. So i havent tried it yet but going to this weekend so we'll see what happens!
