Default NISMO Ti shift **** question

I'm hoping someone here can answer a simple question for me. I bought a Ti NISMO shift **** of Ebay (genuine NISMO not cheese-mo). It's not the model specified for the Z though, it's application is Sentra, Altima, etc. The only dif. I can see is that this model does not include the finisher piece that goes at the base. The thread size is the same. My question is, will this work on my Z without the finisher? Will I have fitment problems with the shift boot etc...? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

goto homedepo, lowes or some sort of hardware place and buy a plastic washer that will just thru the shifter. then glue everythinf together.....
boot to washer....washer to ****. it looks really good.

Thanks, checking home depot for a substitute finisher is not a bad idea. Anybody got a finisher that's not installed that they can measure for me. The internal diameter would be the most important. Thanks again.

Just perfect... my first thread turns into some kinda homo-erotic joke.
Oh well
