Default Scratches in drivers and passengers windows

I have scratches on the outside of both my drivers and passengers windows. They start at the top of the window and extend anywhere from .25 to 1.5 inches down the window. I think they are caused by sand being caught in the weather stripping on the door that the window passes through when it is rolled down. I can hear it scratching as I put the window down and up. No matter how much I try and clean the sand out, there is always some there. My other car does not have this problem and it might be because the fuzz stuff on the weather stripping is thicker and the sand doesnt get pressed on the glass as it is raised and lowered. Anybody have any suggestions?

EVERY CAR I'VE OWNED HAS HAD THAT PROBLEM.
Relax, theres nothing you can really do.
Look at them as battle scares that you should be proud of!

Are you sure it is not from the inside? This could be the window grease issue. I had the TSB fixed but in some cases, the machanical arm was so presses to the window it left scratches, I have scratches on my inner tint after I got the TSB fixed.

Pictures would help.

I just took my Z into Nissan to get the window grease issue fixed.

They said they could replace the window streak problem, but they might not be able to replace the tint on my window where it had worn through, a small hole.

I'll find out tommorow.
