I'm trying to fit my carbon fiber hood to my car. It has OEM fitment. There is a problem. I have a 5/8" skunk2 plenum spacer and AEM CAI, these obviously do not have stock fitment.They make the hood fit incorrectly. Can I cut the hood support (composed of fiberglass) in the points of contact between the hood brace and the plenum and CAI, in order to prevent rubbing and get the hood level? Keep in mind that this support covers the entire underside of the hood and only touches said parts on a few of the extruded parts.
