Default Newbie with bodykits...

forget that replica that i posted. After reading lots of posts on replicas i have changed my mind. I will just stick with the front lip and side skirts from nismo. They offer them thru nissan usa so I was wondering if I could just keep my rear mud flaps on and get the sideskirts and front lip. what you guys thinK?

cost depends on the quality and initial fittment of teh kit, the more prep work, and time it takes to get the kit ready for paint, the more itll cost...

lol..yes you have bubble. I was just about the PM you actually. Hey I was doing some research on here and alot of people have said replica kits have horrible fitment issues. So I was checking out the prices of the OEM Nismo parts on nissan and they are relatively cheap. I was checking out the front lip and the side skirts. would it look good if i just add these on and leave the rear bumper off? also what kind of price should I be expecting to pay for installing and painting these pieces? The reason i wanted to ask you is b/c you seem to know first hand about kits. thanks for the info in advance.

How many of them actually bought the kit, installed and have problem or they just assume? I bought authentic, replica from vendor, manf and replica from Ebay, not much different in term of prepping/fitment. As a matter of fact, the replica version of Veilside 2 sideskirt is at the body shop now. I bought it from Ebay for $150. I'll have it install this weekend and will have full review of it.

As for price of painting and installation, you will need to stop by Tommy Auto Body and tell Mr. Gia that i refer you down, he will take good care for you.
