Default 35% vs 20% Tint

I'm sure it's been posted before but the search feature isn't working on this computer. Grrr.

Anyway, can someone post up some pictures of 35% and 20% tint on a black Z?

I will be doing mine this weekend but I'm not sure which one to go with.

Here's a couple random pics of mine. I've got 35% all the way around, including the windshield. Hope that helps.

Yeah it's done in one piece. Not all shops will tint the windshield b/c, like you said, it's illegal. IMO the 35% is plenty dark. I thought about getting 20% and not doing the windshield, but the lighter tint looks darker w/ the windshield done. Post up some pics when you get it done.

yeah on a black on black Z it looks plenty dark with 35% so I'll stick with that. I'll ask about doing the front window but I'd guess they'll say no.

I didn't get my windshield done when I got the windows done. I went back and got it done later for $60. If you really want it done you can probably find a shop that'll do it, it's just a matter of calling around and asking. Good luck.

I have a PPW Z with black leather interior and have 5% on my back window and 2 small side windows and a strip across the front windshield and 20% on my side windows, My car picks up the black interior and looks alot darker. I have not had any vision problems and love the look of the car. Yours being black would look even better!

I have 35% all around on my SB. I think 20% is the best look but I wanted to stay legal so 35% it is. It looks good but when it's really sunny out I wish I had gone darker. Check out the "sunny" pic attached. That was taken like 2 days after I got the tint.

What color interior do you have? That makes a big difference on what the tint will look like on the car. There is an in-between which is my personal favorite. 30% Very clean looking. And yeah the windshield is illegal. We do it and we'll say we do it over the phone. Its not the cops, they don't care if you do it or not. All the cops personal vehicles we do get it done anyway. lol The car could be for show or for a T.V. commercial, they wouldn't know.

Here are pics of my SB. It's 15% tint all around with 50% on the entire front windshield (one piece). I love it and have yet to have anybody notice that it's darker than legal.

20% on the side rolling windows, 5% back window, port windows, and visor. I was upset that it didnt have the factory visor tint, so I got the next best thing. I wish it was faded in, but what can ya do.

that 35% front windshield looks real nice. I would say go for that and do 20% the rest of the way around.

Well I went 35% all around. They wouldn't do the windshield though. So Now I've got to find a place that'll do the windshield in 35% too.

Nice pics! Last weekend on a remote desert road, no rear tint saved
me. I just barely recognized a stealthy smokey racing up from behind.
Now tinting is not on my upgrade list.
