Default Anybody got overlays?

I really like the look of the taillight overlays for the Z. I was just wondering if you any of you fellas got em. If so, does it really hinder the light in the daytime? Should I get some super diesel (yes I said super diesel) bulbs or something? I still want people to see that I am braking. Also, I was wondering if my LED sidemarkers will still shine through the overlays if I put them on there as well. Let me know guys. Thanks

I have Bat's 6/10 overlays on my tail lights and love them. They still allow plenty of brake light through, as well as allow the reflectors to illuminate.

I have Bat's 6/10 overlays on the sidemarkers and on the rear bumper.

They look great - IMO.

Yeah actually I have seen em on a G35 coupe. Thats where I got my inspiration. They look sexy with em. Do your taillights look blacked out though? I want them to match my dark tints. The reason why I ask if anybody with a Z has em is because I was hoping for a response from the non 06 Z owners because they dont have the LED taillights.

Mine is an '03. Tails look pretty blacked out and match my 35% tinted windows quite well. Make sure you study the install directions carefully and take your timein putting them on so as to avoid wrinkles or bubbles.

contact Bat. However, i still recommend tint the unit instead of overlay it.

In my opinion, overlays look great. Dark overlays for lighter cars and lighter overlays for darker cars looks mint!

what about the headlights? how do the overlays on the headlights look on a DB? i'm pretty sure i'm going to go with the blue/white or a blue/black theme.. just haven't decided.. i want silver rims but i think the blue body looks better with black.. so hard to decide.. is there a pic of DB with dark overlays and perhaps a one with the lighter overlays?

sorry to hijack your thread..

if you blacked out the headlights too, can you post that pic up? and how's the lighting at night? hid's work great or are they noticeably dimmer? tailights affected by the blackout?

LOL I have it resized but I thought that size would help you get a better idea. As far as lighting its not bad but its different which is what I like. I got a friend here that blacked out everything. Ill take pics of it when I can.
