Default How much would leather seats cost me... and will it work?

I have a 2004 enthusiast. I like the seats and all but after I saw a black interior Z with white seats i really want em. Now i dont need entire seats... just the leather cover...

How much would this cost me around...... 1k? or less

$600 for the kit. $200-$400 for installation or do it yourself, I did mine in one afternoon.

I got the Classic Soft Trim seats for $700 installed. They are two tone, with the "Z" embroidered in the back.

interesting..... wouldnt it be an easy install seeing all you have to do is zip the zipper? =P

Its not possible to just get the leather from nissan? or would that be a waste of money

The back installs via a zipper, the bottom is attached to the seat with hog rings.

If you go to a dealer and tell them you want to add leather to a car (any Nissan), they will get it from Classic Soft Trim. CST is the official provider of aftermarket leather seats for Nissan. You can save a couple hundred dollars going directly to a CST installer. You'll get the same 3 year warranty as a factory installed leather would provide.

There is a lot more to it than that. The seat has to be removed from the car, then taken apart. Both the seat back as well as the seat portion has hog rings that attach to the foam. I installed my leather myself, and it took about 3-4 hours for the first seat, and 2-3 hours for the second. I bought mine from leatherseats.com. I was impressed with the workmanship that went into the seat, but I feel that the quality was not that great. The seat matched up very well, but one area looked very wrinkled, and the white backing showed in one area of the passenger bolster between the stitching. When I contacted leatherseats.com they told me to just dye the white backing black so it wouldn't show???

^ so youre saying theres no stapling, just a basic install. Are there ways to adjust to get wrinkles out.

I just got a set of black/red leather covers and want to install them myself, just wondering if i need special tools. The covers i got have the zippers and plastic plates on the ends i guess those are the hog rings?
