Go to Pep Boys, buy the chrome door edge guards, they are designed to go on the vertical edge of your door to keep it from scraping on walls if you are careless. You will need 2 sets, because there are 3 slats on the grill. Instead of putting them on the doors, put them on the grill slats, and voila, chrome grill, for about $10.00, not perfect, but not bad either.

Yep my $10 grill. But everybody asks "is that a billet grill?" i just smile and say no it a custom job. its so easy to do you could even do the up/down Slats and have a "full Grill"

Question

Does anyone have a picture of a SS with any type of grille enhancement?

Also....can you remove the edge guard without a hassle if you don't like it?

The grill is easy to take back to stock, just pull the strips off
