hey all! sorry for being MIA the past few weeks, but I was busy doing some Army training in Lousiana and then Virginia.
About the hood dampers, I assure you I am still tweaking them and should have an announcement within the week!
thanks for the interest!

assuming the hood has the same mounting brackets and they are in the same location as stock, then I assume they would work. however, i will caution that some people say to not use hood dampers with carbon-fiber hoods b/c they might not be strong enough to hold up since the pivot point is so low. i'm not sure how well fiberglass will hold up.
if you can open your hood (without the hood prop) and hold it open with your fingers on both sides down low, where you see the damper attatch to the base of the hood, without bending the hood or causing undue stress, i imagine it will be fine.

The Tein have been around for a long time. Plus you can get them cheaper. The reason we are waiting, is with his dampers you don't have to cut anything under the hood to make them work.

1) cheaper
2) easier install (i think anyways since no need to use a jack)
3) less cutting/melting in order to fit the damper
4) allows for complete plastic cover removal to get to Battery and Brake Fluid without the need to disassemble the hood dampers and brackets.
So, yes, you will need to cut a little bit of plastic to fit (or melt if you prefer), but not as much as the TEIN.
When I said cheaper I meant the tein. I stand corrected I thought you didn't have to cut anything for your dampers to fit. As for install I can't see to much of a difference. Sorry I was trying to help.
