I plan on tinting my windows 35% all the way around this Friday. I don't believe it is dark as I want it, but it is the legal limit. Anybody got pics of 35% tint on their car? I appreciate it.

Hmm. I just got 20% tint all the way around.. I'm in California.. completely illegal. But so worth it. I would go however dark you want. I had a TSX before with 20% tint, got pulled over twice, once I had the cop knocking on my window cause he couldn't see in. He didn't say anything though.

 

By the way, depending on what state you live in, you might be able to go as dark as you want on the rear windows.

 

I have 15% on side windows.
5% small side rear triangles and rear window. really dark, really nice contrast with my PPW. i love it.

If your scared about having illegal tint. just roll down the windows when you see a cop.

Also, you can install a kill switch under your dash. IN line with your window motors. cop pulls you over, roll down windows quickly. flip switch. if cop ask to check your windows. complain about them being broken, and randomly working. say you garage the car all the time????

the Z has 20% on the front windows 5% on the side and then rear. The 350Z has 35% all the way around except the windshield. I saw a silver Porsche with 50 or 55% and it looked beautiful, really classy. When I went to get my tints they had run out of 55% and I didn't want to wait a month for it. It really depends on the color of your car. If I were to do it again I'd go lighter for the classy look.

I just asked the tint shop to do it. Some will, and some won't, you just have to ask around.
