Anyone going to mix and match different parts for a kit???
Hey fellow z owners I was just curious if any of you were go to take different parts from all the kits out there and mix and match (front bumper/spoiler, side skirts, rear bumper, spoiler, hood). I was thinking that when I get my kit that I will just take what I like best from the kits and put it on my super black touring.

I'll mix and match
Match being the key word. I will be getting my Z towards the 2nd half of the year, so I have time to see what else comes out, and try and find a combo that really works well.
As for the people that say a bodykit would screw up the Z,... I look at it like this, I have NEVER seen a stock car that I thought looked PERFECT. Even if the only change I would make is wheels, or something small, there is always room for improvement. That said, mods do have to be tasteful to really improve on a car.
I am even toying around with designs for my own kit, I don't have anything that I am real happy with yet. The top down profile of the front bumper is giving me fits with making it look the way I want. That may never make it out of my sketchbook, but who knows?
What brands/parts are you thinking of mixing???
Later,
Tony

im planning on putting the veilside ver 3 kit on mine then adding the nismo rear wing. The veilside wings are a little much but i definitely like their aggressive kits. And the nismo wing just looks so natural on the z that ive got to have it.

I'm buying the Stillen kit next month.. I really like how it looks with no wing !
I heard the version 2 is comming out soon ... we'll see if ...
about the veilside V3 ... I think is kinda rice .. I like the skirts and mirrors, but I don't feel the front bumper at all...

Well.... it will look fine with Japanese car if you mix with the body kits... but not to the european cars....
I will have:
Nismo Rear spoiler and the Veilside Version 1 Carbon Fibre Front lip to be fitted next week.... should look fine I think!
cheers,
richie

well,.I'm the type to keep it all the same stuff, just sounds better when you say"so-&-so kit", not,"this front, that side and these rear wings".
.but in this case I'm going for clean almost no body kit look @ all,..just add on stuff,.no real replacements!
I went w/ the:
- Veilside vr1 front lip(paint to match)
- Stillen Vr1 Sides-(to match the front lip w/ the sides)
and no rear wing(keepin stock*smooth*) or rear valance,..might up-grade to Veilside vr1 rear valance.??
I think Alot of the Z kits are Very ricey or Borderline rice,...so I'm going w/ lip stuff to be safe
Nismo is one full kit that adds just enough to make it look like you could have bought it that way(wing is cuttin it close) but I Like it.
Thats just me though
