What's wrong with hoping to be helpful? Isn't that what these forums are about? Your recent addition to this old thread contains zero contribution, so your intent is.... ?

I really tried to ignore your comment..but people like you who needlessly harass good forum participants annoy me and I couldn't help but address your douche-ness. Since you have nothing to contribute but negativity then why not just move along?

Glad you got it worked out. What are you putting in that slot? Or are you just looking to get the knee panel out? Do I smell an ECU upgrade?

Does anybody have a pic of this said card holder? I've never actually seen it before. Just interested in seeing what it looks like.

couldn't have said it better myself, I have no idea where that mentality comes from. When I read that reply I was really tempted to write something similar.

I have considered replacing the card holder in my 06, thanks for bumping this thread back up!

+1 on glad someone bumped this thread. I've always thought that card holder was stupid and also always thought we needed better cupholders.

also +1 on pic request. I may end up doing this if i can see the finished product

I keep my insurance card in there as well. Maybe we should start a thread to see all the different things you can put in there :P

Don't you have a 12v power socket there? My '08 does.

Better off getting the center console insert. It will hold 2 cups.

The 12V socket is farther down than where the cup holder on the 03-05s and the card holder on the 06s would be.

All year 350s have the 12v socket in the same location IRC.

Nah lol, I needed to get to the ECU so I can tap into the Neutral safety switch that shows negative when you are in neutral for my remote start. Would hate to remote start in gear and find my car some where else.

For anyone interested, its the brown with yellow stripe wire at the ECU. It shows positive when in any gear but neutral and negative when in neutral.

My 03 didn't have the lower 12v socket. Just the one b/t the seats on the rear.
