I was reading this book named influential cars or something and I saw our Z. I saw this pic of when it was still concept car and it had these nice air duc I dunno what they are called but they were placed right where the door ends to the rear and I think the purpose is to cool of the rear brakes.


I think they look awsome if someone can make them for our Z. perhaps they might even be made lol I dunno.???

Does anybody know what I am talking about???

Yes.

There are all sorts of air ducts designed to cool brakes: both front and rear. On the street brake cooling is frivolous. For a real track car, cooling designs are not attractive: function but not pretty.

 

Here are pics of the concept. I don't see any brake vents on it.

 

WOw those concepts are ugly!!! no it was just like the production Zs. It had long nose and two air duct for the rear brakes. I dont' really care about the performance gains but the look is pretty nice and subtle.

looks like the tried to infuence the 350 with alot of 240 and 260....glad they didn't go with it.....
