Thumbs up Nismo front lip replica review

I know on a lot of boards there is an intense debate over replica vs. real, and I am all for real if you are serious about going to shows, or just have that much money, but for people like myself who go to maybe 2-3 shows a year, and just enter for fun, I believe that replicas are alright for that.

That being said, I am extremely happy with the purchase of a replica Nismo front lip from gsmotortrends on eBay. The seller is on here as Homer_Simpson, and has great communication and is great at shipping. His product is awesome, I would say about 95% close to being exactly like the original. The only issues are that on the passenger side it is a hair too short, and bows out... really only noticeable if you are looking for it or are like most of the people on here and can recognize it, but most people that i know do not/would not notice it. For the price you cannot beat this lip... my body shop guy couldnt believe that it was a replica, cause it was made out of "good sh*t"... i'm not being paid to say this, or being offered anything, I'm doing this on my own to help other people that are like me and looking for a great deal. Here's the pic painted and on the car.

here is the side that sticks out a little bit, its barely even noticeable, from the picture or in person.

That fitment looks great. My authentic Veilside v1 lip has tiny gaps on each side in the same places.

it does look like it sticks out further than a real nismo lip. i don't have a great picture of the same angle, but this is the best that i could find on my computer side-by-side to a sideprofile of mine (that i just ran outside and snapped):

IMR:

it looks a lot alike, especially in length. The only thing I can really notice though is that the IMR gets a lot thinner towards the end of it, I dont know if you can tell through the pictures, but I know in person it doesn't get thin like the IMR does.

IMR is 179 with free shipping, got mine for 165 shipped, 150 painted and installed.

If it hadnt been for Bubble's other thread I would have never known about this company, and probably would have spent more $$ on something (other replica) that looks the same.
