you guys need to do a search, it was discussed a few times and there was a group buy for a pair of clear strips (although it was a while ago)

basically you bake your headlight in the oven at XXX degrees F for XX minutes... then just pry it apart.

Thanks for all in the info guys. It seems like a pain in the a$$ to do. You can just buy clear strips and have them installed?

A company called clearcorners.com will do it for you and it will look pimp as hell, but then you will see the price and say *** it.

I did it and it was the biggest pain in the dik ever. It looks amazing because I blacked them out as well, but the sealant, time and water-soaked ballsts made me regret my decision.

Here's the way mine use to look, since then, I removed the turn signal bulb and drilled 12 orange LED into the strips that are now my turn signals. Think about if you want the clear strips or of if you just want to paint the orange strips, if you are painting the inside anyway. If you are going to paint the inside, you will end up with the same contrast as you have now with the orange against the silver.

The first time you take them apart, it's kind of scary. Now I take them apart whenever I want to.
