Thanks, guys; keep the votes coming! I need to decide fast.

I have a urethane v1 rear skirt at the shop for paint right now and will prob call them tomorrow morning and tell them to hold off until I decide. I'm leaning toward the MSA rear pretty heavily and am considering selling my v1 lip and going for the entire MSA kit (discussed here: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=187939 ) Going to call them up tomorrow and get more info. on it. They were suposed to have a car with the kit on at a show today, so hopefully I can get some more pics sent to me.

Veilside. The other one just looks like it belongs on a new honda civic.

Thanks for your vote and opinion; all are welcome. Still up in the air at this point...

Well, yes, I suppose it would be made to match the Nismo style sides; the entire MSA kit is a toned down interpretation of the Nismo S-Tune GT kit. As for the concern, I guess every rear skirt out there would run that risk, including the Veilside, so that's pretty much in the eye of the beholder and personal preference, right?

I'm sure either rear skirt would look best if they were molded in, but that would cost quite a bit more to do... guess I could ask my shop how much more that would be, but that also pretty mich screws you on being able to remove it, sell it and go back to stock without more work in the future...

Hmm, I'm really at an empass here, guys... The vote is nearly 3:1 in favor of the MSA rear, but I'm afraid the pictures might make it look better than in rear life (car very light silver on white background).

I was thinking about what mc350z said earlier about the skirt running the risk of looking stuck on to the bottom of the bumper, so I looked around at real world pics (posted below) of other rear half-skirts (Trial and Greddy) and they do indeed look stuck on (look like crap, actually; only one I found that looks ok is the Ings).

The Trial skirt is pictured from several angles and is of similar design to the MSA. It does look better on CS than SS, though and my car is CS... At any rate, even though the MSA is aguably a better design than these others, I'm afraid it'll have that stuck on look unless it's molded in, which would add too much cost and weight for my liking.

I really need to see some real world pics of the MSA rear skirt. Comments?

Here are some shots of the v1 rear skirt from different angles. It looks good to me and not tacked on, since it sits much lower and the top edge rides the existing bumper crease all the way around. The top edge also matches the integrated body line in the Nismo side skirts, so it would look good from the side. My decision may be swinging back in the direction of Veilside... HELP ME!!!

Finally got a real world pic, courtesy of Jay from Evo-R, who saw the Motorsport car on display at their show this past weekend.

This one pretty much decided it for me. The MSA skirt makes the rear look too bulky for my taste and does look a bit "stuck on". I'm going to stick with the Veilside rear skirt for a simpler, cleaner look. Thanks for all the opinions and votes, guys!

Yup, Jay posted them up in the MSA Type 7 body kit thread. Here it is:
Looks very nice; I'd like the mesh in black better, though. Deffinitely one of the nicest bumpers I've seen for the Z.
