Default how to remove shift ****

i was wonderin do u remove the shift ****..cuz i'm gettin a nismo one..if anyone knows please tell me how thnz..

grip and turn (counter clockwise). If you are a wimp, get a towel and use a large pipe wrench. If you are a man, just use your hand.

I heard stories of people fckn up the shifter doing that. I think ur supposed to remove the shift boot and secure the shift rod first.......i had nissan put mine on when I was in for service.....no charge.

Seriously man, before u post here, just stop and think. wait.....stop....then think.......i know you can figure it out. So many people play duumb, when in reality there just to lazy to think.

there are directions if you search. You need to put tape over the end of a flat head screw driver. Use the screw driver to gently pop the plastic part off around the shifter. Get some vice grips and grab hold of the shifter under the plastic part you may need like a rag in the grip to prevent it from slipping. Now hold the vice grip and twist off the ****. Then put it all back together.

i went to 350zmotoring and did a search on removing shift ****...the guy who did a write up was flyin-nimbus...easy as he!! to do good luck!

Turn the damn thing. Did it the other day, took less then a min to take off and put my new one on!

Yup, '03s are the tightest (like frozen molasses). Yet I still have a pristine OEM shift **** sitting on my desk
