Pics: EVO-R air duct color matched to 06 front bumper
I damaged my front bumper and needed to replace it. I considered some aftermarket ones but decided to just get an 06 front end and add the air duct for a semi-custom look. I also left the portion under the grill unpainted. I think it looks pretty good as is, but I might add a carbon fiber piece over it in the future. The 06 grill inserts and tow cover piece are on order and next up is to smoke the sidemarkers. I asked the body shop to paint the sidemarkers too, but they said legally they can't do it so I didn't push the issue. I was worried the duct would blend in too much painted, but it still stands out without being too over the top. Tell me what you think, ignore the bugs:

The bumper was brand new, unpainted and not installed. I installed the air duct and it fit perfect. Took the whole thing (bumper/duct) in to be painted and installed. When I got it back, there was a small gap on the top of the duct. Anything else in the pics is just a shadow or optical illusion.
