i am thinking of doing it myself with the epoxy but was just curious what the plastic welder is?
i may also buy my paint and ask one of the fiberglass guys at my job to borrow there spray gun and spray over it when im done

actually it is urethane...and yes, it can crack, as any other material can.
it can be fixed, though it might cost just as much to get a new one...ask your local body shops first and if you need a new one, let us know, as we got a bunch

i got my greddy front lip for free, but it was split in 2 pieces. if you go to an auto body supply store and ask for duramix brand abs fix. it is a 2 part resin that has all the same properties as abs. you will need a 2 piston gun to apply and mix the stuff, but i suppose you could mix it without the gun if you were quick. just make a valley where the break is and fill with the compound and sand smooth. on the back side, do the same, but press in a chunk of fiberglass matting to make the repair stronger. simple as that. cost ya less than $20 to fix. it makes such a strong repair, i was able to whip my spoiler around like a baseball bat, and it didn't come back apart.
if you lived close to me i could help you out, i have a plastic welder and have done many repairs on bike plastic's(fairings) and a few car bumpers. you should be able to go to a bodyshop and get it fixed but im sure it will be 100-150 w/paint?
well i finally tried to glue it with a 2 step epoxy it held nice but i moved my car from 1 spot to another spot and it came lose already....so i just took the piece off this way i dont lose it when i drive so now i have a hole in my lip...should i just take it to the body shop and see what they say? i am really pissed right now all i wana do it just ripp it off and throw it out
