the roof on the top secret car IS just a stick on. how do you supposed they actually cut out the roof and add a new cf one without the car breaking in half when they drive it?

the A pillars are replacements, since its just a thin peice of plastic anyhow.

They are a nice addition but like all carbon products they tend to yellow/fade after long periods of setting in the balzing sun. If you car is a weekend driver then ok, if not I say within a year you'll seein problems.

Thats anything but true. Carbon fiber is like any other aftermarket part...you get what you pay for. If you buy a $200 hood off Ebay, it's gonna fade, need clear coating, bad fitment, etc. If you fork over the cash for a decent product like Seibon you WONT get any fading. Fading happens when you use a ****ty coat of clear coat or bad epoxy. I have been a distributor for Seibon and VIS for many years. Seibon is HANDS DOWN the best carbon fiber company out there right now. Out of 500+ order I have had a dozen complaints and most were about damage during shipping.

I have personally had a Seibon hood on my car for 3 years and it sits in the sun all day and is even left on during the winter and its still in GREAT condition. I have yet to have one customer complain about fading. Im sure there has been bad batches of stuff made, dont get me wrong, but I personally have never had an issue with Seibon and like I said I have had 500+ orders in the past 2-3 years. I find as long as you take care of it (wax every couple months) you wont have any issues.

clear coat your cf and you shouldnt have any problem with loss of color, do about 8 to 9 coats of clear, your cf will last and stick out from others with a very very nice shine!

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love carbon, but I have seen some shabby carbon hoods. Every one was faded are the clear was yellowish. My whole car would be carbon if it were up to me, but I worry about the long term affect.

I have an Acura RSX-S, I Have Seibon GT hood, Seibon TR Lip kit, Seibon TR Spoiler, and Seibon hatch for 2 years and im telling you it looks great. SOME hoods need clearcoating, most major manufactures like Seibon, VIS, etc. wont need extra coats of clear coat. Here's a picture of my RSX for fun :-)
