Default Replace Steering Wheel Cover???

My steering wheel is get pretty wore and the leather or whatever it is is starting to tear up from where my hand always goes. I wanted to know if there was anyway to replace this can you just take it off and have an upolstery shop make a new one????? Please help it looks and feels horrible.

I'd also be interested. It would be cool if you could get an alacantara covering for the stock wheel.

It will probably be cheaper to just buy a barely used wheel. It will cost about $200-$300 to rewrap. I have seen used wheels go for $45 to $150 or so.

Where can you get a used wheel from and where did you hear that it would cost that much to get one re-wrapped.
