I was wondering if anyone knew of any place in the states where I can buy the electric folding mirrors that come on the right hand drive models. I tried searching for it but came up with nothing.

Oh, and even though this is my first post here, I joined up about a month ago and have been lurking around for almost a year gathering up info.

I'm thinking of two solutions both involving the 2006 Maxima. The Maxima mirrors not only close electrically when you choose but you can select either mirror to drop down when you engage reverse ( that would help prevent the dreaded curb rash!!). Here's my options:

(1) Buying a set of '06 Maxima mirrors, having them painted and then wired into the car.
(2) Getting the schematics buying all the electrical pieces and installing them.

Option (1) is really appealing because the mirrors of the Maxima and Z are almost identical.
Option (2) would depend on whether or not the stock Z mirrors can be modified.

The JDM parts would be preferred but since we may have trouble getting our hands on a set this migh be the next best thing!!!
