CF is supposed to look like CF...get fiberglass if you want painted parts...CF is supposed to stay unpainted IMO...unless you're going to paint part of it and leave part unpainted, which could look cool if done right

I dunno about having to leave it. For me, I should be getting my seibon ts any day now but i only really wanted it for the vents. I'll probably leave it unpainted for awhile but eventually it will be fully color matched SB. I just think it looks cleaner. But where a lot of vented hoods only come in cf there isn't much of a choice if you want to paint a vented hood. You pretty much have to buy cf. So do whatever you want man. But if you are talking about painting a lip then i do agree with the other guys. If you could have gotten it in FRP then i would have just to save a few bucks. No point in buying the cf just to paint it when there's a FRP version.

If you want to paint something by fiberglass, not carbon. At the very most you might paint the outer part and and leave the center carbon, {a hood for instance}.

Ouch. thats gotta look unpretty.

CF body parts= money for dedicated show cars. a lil more of a chore to keep nice with regularly driven vehicles.

if you are wanting to cover something up on them, then you have your answer but otherwise, leave it carbon fiber. Your car looks damn good like that

thinking of painting part of it...covers the gashes, yet still show that it's CF at certain places...working out ideas with GTNPU currently as I believe he has a similar taste in cars as me.

If anyone has ideas, feel free to suggest.

i vote to paint it NOT because it's rice. CF fades and turn yellow unless you spray clear coat every 6 months = EXPENSIVE

BTW, few of the guys at Tommy out for vacation sooooooooo..make sure with Mr. Gia the delivery date for your car or it will be in there for awhile. Just a head up for you bro.

thanx for the heads up...I'll keep that in mind. I asked Mr. Gia a couple days ago and he said I can drop off my car on Monday and get it back in 4 days.. but I'll just "make sure" again when I drop off my car...lol....
