Replica Ings+1 kit installed [pics]
Okay so I picked up a replica kit. It was cheap. I wanted to take the gamble and see if I'd win. Mobworks of Orange, CA. did an AWESOME job considering the kit's condition. (note, in these pics the hatch wasn't closed all the way, not because of kit, but because I forgot to close)
All I will say is I was sure to keep every bit of my stock parts. I know I will want to be stock in appearence again...one day.
Comments? And try and be constructive.

Overall I am happy. I can't say spending $1500-$2500 for the real deal seems worth it to me to correct the small issues. As it was said, you get a way with A LOT in a black car. (if I had silverstone I'd wait for the real kit)
The only thing buggin me is there is a slight dip smack dab in the middle of the front where the hood meets the kit. There's nothing that can be done really without reforming the kit.
So, I *might* try and get the real front if it really starts to dig on me. For now though I am happy. And yes, the next chunk of change is going to have to be wheels.
I really do not want to lower it as living in SOCAL can make that a nightmare for hitting things left and right. So I am thinking about puttin sick lookin 19s, wide as hell, out back for sure.
Also, for those of you wondering how tough FPR kits may or may not be. Well I SLAMMED THE CRAP out of the front lip already hitting one of SOCALs classic "valleys" at an intersection as I was turning. I heard a loud CLUNK and thought for sure the kit would be cracked.
I pull over and check things out. The hit was hard enough that it caused my fender tub to pop out of the fender! I just popped it back and checked out the kit. Not a single crack, not even at the screw joints!
FPR seems to take quite a hit. It is flexible. People need to remember that. Much more so than straight up fiber.

Thanks!
The replica kits, as you may know, go between $350-$700 depending where you get them.
"M.O.B. Works" prefit, prep, paint and install is between $1600-$2200. This all depends on how much you are having done and how much prefit the kit needs.
My numbers ended up being on the low-end for everything.

If you paid in the 2s, post some more pics i gotta see the reflections at diff angles. but from what i see, if you paid 2 grand or more u need to take it back right now and tell them they need to work harder on it.
How long did they have the kit for in the shop if u dont mind me askin.l

From request I have made a mini web gallery with higer resolution images and more images.
A couple show off the dip in the front I am talking about in the kit. The only part of the kit I might want to save the cash and get the real front for.
There was nothing they could do to reform that dip, according to M.O.B. Works.
(remember my rear hatch is not closed in the pics)
