Any input on fiberglass hoods?
Just wondering if fiberglass hoods would last long? due to the heat from the engine?
or just stick with OEM hood?

 

i have the series two hood and i like it. the only thing i do not like about the hood is that it is not functional.

fiberglass would be fine. However, you will need F/I or SC to back up that hood.

 

I have the Series 2 Hood as well with an extremly large gap. Stillen is sending me a pair of elongated hinges to try anad close the gap. Make sure you fit the hood before you paint it.

Robert does your hood have gap between the bumper. What bumper do you have with your Series two hood

 

i love stillen supercharge but it requires stillen hood. They all are ugly. I wonder if anyone else made hood dat clear stillen sc?

 

I was thinking about having my stock hood modified if I can find a body shop to do it. either way it is going to have a hump

Well the verdict is in on the BBB. Buyers Better Beware. I struck out with them on this occasion. They closed the case before I even got the hood fixed. I am assuming some lazy person in the office did not want to keep following up the case. Or they were false by the supervisors to resolve or close, numbers are everything these days.

There is some light at the end of the tunnel. Stillen purchased or or obtained some hood hinges and elogated them for me. They mailed to my house and Tomorrow I am going to have them installed. They have worked very well I must say to resolve this problem, I am just hoping their solution works. I want to purchase their bumper for the hood. It looks great on thier magazine. So if everything works out I will post the pictures of how they suggest the hinges are suppose to be a 350Z. They claim the G25 already has elongated hinges so it fits the car well. To me that means the hood is for the G35.

However, the BBB, is full of BS. I only got a few months to go then I am home. I also heard that there is a possiblity to get an assignment to Japan. I am going to see if it is possible. I am already making a wish list of parts if I do make it to Japan.
