Default question about JDM clear reflectors

i heard to install these clear reflectors you have to take off the bumper...is this true? an earlier post said it took about 45 min to install...does it really take that long?

I've heard of people doing it w.o taking it off. I took mine off though takes under 5 minutes.

It isn't as painful as you think...nevermind it is painful, but it's not complicated. Drivers side has enough work area for you to not have to remove the bumper, but the passenger side has the window washer fluid there, and its more of a tight area. That side needs the bumper to be off, you can work with a friend and let him hold it up for you while you exchange the reflectors out. Shouldn't take you more than 45min.

Its a little harder to get the passenger side on the 06 without takeing it off... Its easy enough to take off the bumper... Just take it off to begin with...

WOW 5 minutes! That's pretty fast! I took my white reflectors w/ led today and it took me an hour. This is my second time on doing it too!

Taking the bumper off only. Probably took me 20 for everything. LoL I should have been more clear on that.

It was pretty simple for me. About 2 minutes for the driver's side and then once I get to the passenger side it took me a lil bit longer due to the window washer tank. But I didn't take the bumper off (because I did mine at lunch in the parking lot at work). I just had to pull the mud guards back to get back there. I don't think the bumper has to be remove.

^ damn sounds crazy. Anyways did my '06 in about 30 minutes....my bumper was already off since i was installing my CAI...so really it took me about 2 minutes to take the ambers off and then put the clears on. The front bumper is actually quite easy to take off so don't worry about that.

I put my on just this past weekend and I didn't take the bumper off...driver's side, 5 minutes...passenger's side, 45 minutes and a lot of cussing.

If I were going to do it again, I'd just take the bumper off.
