I recently got my Nismo lip kit (front lip, 2 side skirts and 2 rear pieces) for the Z and have been looking around for a good shop to get the work done. And from what I read these kits should come prefitted or close enough or don't need any major mod. But these people are quoting me $800-$900 to get the kit installed? Is that a decent price or am I being robbed? Maybe because I can afford the Z I should be able to pay whatever for everything else...

I might just get some red rattle cans and spray that **** in the parking lot myself if they are costing that much...

 

you still need to prep the kit before you paint it. That is typical price for most shop to charge you. However, you can bargain with them down to the $500 range. Good luck.

I'm trying to get a decent job done. Even though I know it's gonna get scratches in the future because I'm on 18s and will be lowered soon. But I still feel I'm getting ripped.
