So I noticed today that someone put a big scratch in the hood of my superblack Z. It seems I am constantly having to have some part of the car repainted, because idiots feel the need to reach out and touch my car. Any way, I am now trying to decide wether to repaint the hood or to get a vented CF hood. I autocross the car and plan to track it,so I like the extra cooling of a ventilated hood. I am just not sure how CF is going to look on a black car. So what do you think vented CF or just repaint the OEM hood? Also, does anyone make a non CF vented hood? And does anybody have any pics of a cf hood on a SB Z? Thanks.

 

you could always paint the CF hood if you dont like the look

After paining all that money for CF, it seems like a waste to paint it. I mean its not a huge weight savings next to stock.

I unfortunately have never seen CF on black. I've seen it on every other color, just not black. Anyone got some good pics?
