Default My Z is hurt BAD :(

This is what happens to your Z when someone pulls out in front of you... I was on my way to pick up something and some bozo chick who was supposed to yield at the light (both directions green), she was going left, she turned right as i was at the intersection no idea yet how salvageable the Z is..

just from the exterior looks of it, its very salvagable. new hood, new bumper, new fender should take care of the exterior. how the question is what internal damages are there. all in all, it doesnt look totaled but you never know until you take a good good look at it.

yea looks salvagable to me. i am a claims adjuster and the only way that type of damage would be salvaged is if there was some major frame damage underneath.

I wouldn't be complaining about your insurance company if they totaled your car for that damage. I'm a claims adjuster & most likely would have repaired your car unless there was some serious hidden damage (engine).

welp, just with the 'visible' estimate so far, it's up to $7,459.88, tomorrow they 'crack it open' and check the frame, engine parts, everything, so who knows how much more it'll go up

What if the insuarnce compoany totals your car because the front end is all smashed up but you have aftermarket parts like say a rear spoiler and or exhuast and stuff that is fine, would they let you pull those parts that you bought off of the car?

ARgh... I had a truck and SUV pull out in front of me a couple minutes apart! I was exiting the intersection when he made a right and got in front of me, so I quickly switched to the left. Then a red truck tried to turn onto my lane from the neighborhood... the rear end was still on the wrong side of the street. I quickly switched to the right lane, and as I got next to him he tried to punch it to get in front of me.

From what I was told Friday. The running parts list is...

AC Condenser
Radiator
Coolant overflow
right fender
hood
bumper cover
frame rails
right headlight
( gonna have to get new clear reflectors and rebuild the right one)

sure i've missed some stuff... i went up today and took pics of her sitting in the lot behind the body shop.. one pic was ok, the 2nd was too dark, gonna take beter ones today w/ my camera (not a phone).. kinda progress pics i guess
