Default 3M invisible question

Question for you 3M guys out there, how long do you have to wait until you can wash your car? Jeremy mentioned that you have to wait a little bit for it to dry out, however I can't remember how long I was told to wait for...

Your good to go You should just wait a couple days to make sure all the moisture under the edges is dried out and are fully adhered. Wash it up and show it off

Despite what most dealerships would leadyou to belive, the paint protection provided by sealants is from oxidization and the weather, and not from chips, scratches, and sandblasting from road debris. Good news is they go just fine together, the film only covers the frontal impact area, so it is still completely reasonable to use a sealant over the rest of the car. BTW, where in the north bay are you getting it done? I didnt know anyone up here using Touch of Class??

I bought the dealer touch of class from Dirito Bros in Walnut Creek. I was very hesitant but then I remembered a black 1990 Volvo with dealer wax and I never waxed the car for the next ten years. Paint held up very well.
