There are no "gutters" but you shouldn't worry about hydrolocking or anything else. All that will happen is your engine bay will become dirtier faster.

Actually Jim there are 2 pieces {removable} attatched under the vents to prevent rain, at least on the TS you sold me. It's pretty neat BTW.

Just found this thread = BUMP!
My fav is the CF Top Secret hood, which retains the factory hood release function, but also has hood pins. BTW, it is for sale.

I've always liked the Seibon TS. Too bad it can't clear a strut bar (even stock) and covers without hacking stuff to make it work.

I would have to say the new unreleased 03-05 Asuka hood is one of my favorites, you guys will love this one.

Given that the 03-06' TopSecret hood was ~$2k, I'd expect the same or more.
